Is your museum effectively building visibility within your community and engaging potential visitors through social media? In this webinar, you'll learn strategies for developing partnerships with other organizations within your community to help build an audience who is passionate about the services and programs you provide. We will also discuss best practices for successful outreach campaigns and strategies for promoting museum exhibits, activities, and programs through Facebook and Instagram. Justin Minsker, Historic Sites Communications Coordinator for the Texas Historical Commission, will share insights on how to develop and leverage digital messages, create compelling visual assets, and effectively target your campaigns to build an engaged online audience.

Justin Minsker is the Historic Sites Communications Coordinator for the Texas Historical Commission, where he manages agency social media channels and oversees development of outreach campaigns to promote visitation and preservation of the agency’s 32 State Historic Sites. He manages the sites’ communications strategy and develops outreach campaigns for social media, email newsletters, websites, blogs, traditional advertising, and public relations. Before he jumped over to State Historic Sites, Justin managed social media and email marketing for all of the THC. Prior to that, he was the social media coordinator at the Texas Workforce Commission, where he kick-started their social media efforts and their email marketing outreach plan.
