Join us for United States Artists for a moderated conversation with studio potter Ehren Tool (USA Fellow in Craft and Traditional Arts, 2010) as he demonstrates wheel throwing and discusses his practice, artistic process, and what receiving the USA Fellowship grant meant to him.

About the artist 

Ehren Tool has made and given away more than 22,000 cups since 2001. His work is heavily influenced by his time in the Marine Corps and the different ways military and civilian cultures collude and collide. Tool received his MFA from UC Berkeley in 2005 and is currently the Senior Laboratory Mechinician in the Department of Art Practice at UC Berkeley.
