Watch your step around August First bakery in Burlington this June 21. If you’re not careful, you may just trip over an amplifier! Bands will be performing from 4 until 9, and styles will range from Beatles covers, to acoustic samples, to psychobilly rock!

The Squandered Minds will perform from 4 to 6, and again from 8 to 9 near the corner of Main and South Champlain Street in downtown Burlington. The Squandered Minds are a psychobilly, indie-folk, indie-rock band stealing muses from bands like The Band and The Byrds. This five-piece band plans on delivering a mix of originals and covers which will range from The Airplane to Zevon. Street parties, house parties, and barn burners are their usual habitat, but on June 21 The Squandered Minds will rattle the glass around August First Bakery.

Liverpool Social Club entertains from 5:30 to 6 with one of the most reliable song libraries. This amateur group delivers covers of The Beatles, for no other reason—and no other reason is needed—then “ ‘Cuz they’re fun to sing.”

Jeremy Brotz takes the stage, or sidewalk, at 6. A local artist, Jeremy is a fresh face in the Burlington music scene. For the last year, he’s locked himself away in his room recording his EP, ‘The Bridge.’ He will be on Spotify, iTunes, and Soundcloud soon!

Nilly Welson steps up at 6:30, and will play until The Squandered Minds return at 8. Nilly Welson is a group of friends connected by a love of music. Nilly Welson plans to perform a wide variety of songs from the rock and pop canon.
