Surf Sabbath With The High Breaks, Asperos Saicos, And Mac Swan & Black Holly At the Monkey House January 30, 2016

I had a great time seeing music a couple of weeks ago at the Monkey House. I met up with Nathan Curtis and Rich Haskell and we arrived and settled in. Mac Swan & Black Holly hit the stage soon after. They played some rocking songs that skirted the line between hardcore and metal. The music felt a bit more metal but the singer was much more punk. The bass and drums were solid but the heavily amplified banjo added a very different sound. Their set was not super long, but it was super fun.
