I just got back from my local music internet radio show, number 35, on WBKM.ORG. It was Halloween, so I decided to have some fun. I came up with the idea a while ago, but wasn’t sure if I could pull it off. I think I did. I thought, what if I was hanging out with a traveler between worlds, and I got caught in a spirit world. I thought he would do the show and open a door back for me.

Good Evening. It is I, Mister E Ghoul, here to play some songs for you, on Halloween. Unfortunately, the one you quaintly know as Tim, cannot be here this evening. Earlier, we were chatting with the spirits, and they lured him over, to the other side. But the spirits, are like your mortals, and subject to fear. Maybe we can scare them into, sending Tim back to you. Let’s begin, with a band, quaintly called farm, and their tale of the Devil on WBKM. Boo!lington’s kind of music.

Again, it is I, Mister E Ghoul. Poor Tim, has yet to return. Surely the lure of his friend Dave Jarvis, and the fright of the dreaded vampyre, should have worked. But No. They seem unmoved by Alice Austin’s tale of the Graveyard Before Dark, and of Anais Mitchell’s Our Lady Of The Underground. ‘Tis no matter. I shall continue on. Perhaps Tim’s friends in Cold Sweat, and their tale of Monsters, will sever the spirits hold. If not, some chaotic music of Burlington shall emanate, from what you quaintly call, WBKM, and the borders between the worlds shall break down.

It is I, again, and Tim is still locked from this earthly realm. The borders are beginning to shimmer, as some spirits remember passing on, as victims of sharks. Tim’s friends Michael Clifford and J Boom Mateik have done well, but not well enough. Tim has the deepest respect for Lee Anderson, and his earthly incarnation, Radio Bean. His band Cccome? and their song Death, could have brought him back, but the spirtis have a stronger hold him than I thought, or he has a stronger hold on them. I thought for sure the lure of the quirky band called The Toes, and their tale of Heghogs, would compel Tim to return, to what you quaintly call a dance floor. But no matter. It’s time to get serious. How many spirits can we catch in Vedora’s Dragnet, that was released from WBKM?

Again it is I, Mister E Ghoul. The Contrarian’s tale of the Tarot and the Knight Ov Swords, has visibly, or invisibly, to most of you, shaken the spirits, and yet their grip remains. The Vacant Lots story, of When The Lord Comes, has started to open a door, but will Tim come back through? It’s time for the ultimate lure, not that it really matters, mind you, for Tim is perfectly safe. While he is still lost, there is no danger. But there comes a time, when you must dwell in your world, and I must dwell in mine. The power of Tim’s friend Sean Altrui, and the lure of his love for Swale, should be enough to bring him back.

(Sirens is a drum only song that gets more and more intense. As it was playing, I kicked on the microphone, which lowered the song volume, and with speakers on in the room, which produced a freaky echo, as Ghoul, chanted the following:

I went through it twice, then kicked the drums back to full sound. They rocked hard for two minutes, then I mixed it directly into the Sinatra outro)

Hey guys, Tim here. What’s happening? Oh no, it’s 10 and my show is already over. I got it all set, then was waiting for E, I, um, er, must have dozed off on the couch. I’m so sorry about that. Hmm, the list of songs that just played are my set list, did E play it for you? I’m so embarrassed, I don’t know what to do. I guess all I can do is play my next song. This is Fish’s most Halloween song.
