Francesca Blanchard at Shelburne Orchard's Small Farms Food Fest
Francesca Blanchard is a young chanteuse who hails from Charlotte, Vermont, and she will be featured at Shelburne Orchards’ Annual Small Farms Food Fest on September 15. Blanchard got her start singing on Church Street at Burlington’s Jazz Festival a few years back. She describes her style as a fusion of singer-songwriter, folk and blues. It’s “a special, funky kind of Pop…Anglo-Franco pop!” Blanchard has ambitions to tour the world-especially France-and pursue a career in theater as well. She wants to spread her music across the United States too, but fear not-we won’t be losing Francesca to the big city. “ I'll always have a home in Vermont.
