New BHW Writer: Nick Awad

"Hey I’m Nick Awad. I’m a rising junior at UVM. Music, especially underground music, has always been a big part of my life. I listen to mostly punk, metal, and folk. Recently I’ve been listening to Neil Young, The Weakerthans, and Townes Van Zandt. I play guitar and banjo in a band called Behold and Lo with my friend who plays the mandolin. I’m really excited to be at Big Heavy World and to be involved in the Burlington scene."
