From our small city to the great big world, these are the sounds of Burlington. This week Caroline O’Connor and Matthew Hastings got engaged. Congratulations! There are a lot of couples who make music in this town. I will start with a Vedora song. I will follow with one of the best songs about marriage ever.
1.) Basalt Anchor – Vedora 2.) Marriage Song – Satori Bob 3.) You’re Free – The Cush
The Cush are a great couple, and this is song 5 from New Appreciation For Sunshine. Jon John Baumann used to play Marriage Song all over Burlington for a couple of years. Congrats again, and it will be interesting to see the new line-up of Vedora. I meant to go see jazz, but could not pass up seeing Swale on Flynn ave, in a parking lot, by the tracks.

Talked about seeing Blue Button and having 5-10 people in the audience. Lendway are trying playing as a new surf rock band, The High Breaks, since people don’t show up when they play. There was hardly anyone at Swale. Take a chance. Go out and see music. There is some great stuff out there. It’s jazzfest, here’s some jazz.

The Fatal Flaws doing a Hawkwind jam. Chris and Sasha are a great couple too. You can define joy by the look on Sasha’s face when she plays the drums. Pinhead are reminding us to not to over-globalize, and dedicated the song to the people of Istambul. I’ve played the next song before, but did you catch all the words? If only I had stopped there.

Rebekah Whitehurst and Steve Tremblay are a great couple. Cave Bees opening for the Doolittle show? Great song by Fire the Cannons. Ornan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
