DJ Profile: Jason Gross
Since his elementary years, Jason Gross has always enjoyed sharing his love of music with others. He enjoyed spending his time playing the drums, piano, violin and playing records and CDs for his enjoyment and the enjoyment of those around him. He was always willing to play anything, so long as it made people happy. When he moved from New Canaan, Connecticut to Burlington, Vermont, he wanted to expand his audience. Fortunately, a friend knew about Big Heavy World and asked if Jason would like to volunteer at the station. Jason accepted, of course, and now has a radio show on The Radiator. Some of his favorite artists are Rush, Collective Soul, Boyz II Men, Led Zeppelin, The Who, and Metallica, however on his radio show he plays a wide variety of genres, namely rock and roll, alternative, pop, R&B, country, and rap. Since coming to Big Heavy World, Jason has also been involved in photojournalism and goes to Main Street Landing to take pictures of local bands once a month. He also enjoys going to shows at Signal Kitchen, The Bakery, and Higher Ground. During the day, you can find him at the Best Buy in Williston, where he is a customer specialist.
Be sure to tune in to The Radiator, 105.9 FM on Thursday evenings from 5 to 6pm to catch Jason on 'The Mixtape Hour'!
