Doll Fight!, Regret & More Play 4/16 to Support Big Heavy Van
Big Heavy World's van has gone over 23,000 miles since Good News Garage gave it to us, bringing five bands on tours to the midwest, Florida, and the west coast so far. She's a tiger, but needs luvin.' All the driving beat her down, but with new brakes, a ball joint, water pump and a trailer hitch and tire chains on top, she's ready for her upcoming tours with Doll Fight! and Crucial Times. Big Heavy World shares the van with the Hub Teen Center & Skatepark and a senior home in Bristol, too.
On Saturday, April 16 a show at The Hub Teen Center & Skatepark in Bristol will help raise cash for insurance, a tuneup, and a repair to the headlight switch. Admission is by donation, and a pile of fun bands are playing:
REGRET (new Burlington/Randolph Hardcore punk) DOLL FIGHT! (Riot Gurrrl from the Queen City) TRAPPER KEEPER (Up and coming Pop/Punk from VT) TIGHTROPE (From Montreal. Quebecois Kid Dynamite) THE DEAD ELECTRIC (FFO At The Drive In/Get Up Kids)

The Hub is at 110 Airport Drive, at Mt. Abraham Union High School's entrance off of VT Route 116. You can see the skatepark from the road; the Hub is the purple building next to it. The show's from 7pm-10pm, all ages and substance-free. Admission is by donation - no one will be turned away (give what you can). Visit the Hub at http://www.bristolskatepark.com. Thanks to Bristol Friends of the Arts for giving gas to the bands!
