R.I.P. 'The Space'

The photo above was taken last week, and the one just below. The photo at the bottom was taken today. A development company is building an office building where the old Battery Street Jeans and Good News Garage buildings (and neighboring white metal building) stood on the corner of Battery and King Streets. They're making an effort to have the new building look nice and were generous in giving old exterior light fixtures to The Hub Teen Center & Skatepark in Bristol. Seeing history in action is an occasion to remember the fun shows and good people who brought life to the upstairs of the old place. If you have memories to share, post them here.
