Vermont Movie Fundraiser Features Vacant Lots, Michael Chorney, Indigo Ruth-Davis w/Peg Tassey

chorney On Saturday, July 10th, a fundraising concert for The Vermont Movie is being held at The Flynnspace, and The Radiator - psyched to be a media supporter of the event - is giving away two free tickets to attend the show. The concert will feature three great artists: Michael Chorney playing an acoustic set, Warholian rockers The Vacant Lots and Indigo Ruth-Davis’ original cello compositions with special guest Peg Tassey.

The Vermont Movie is the product of joint efforts by over twenty noted Vermont filmmakers. The film is an exploration of Vermont’s rich history of both independence and activism. All money will go towards helping with the final editing and production costs of the film, headed by executive producer Nora Jacobson.

Listeners can either call in to The Radiator to add their names to a drawing for tickets, or send an email with your information to info@theradiator.org, subject “Vermont Movie Tix.” The show starts at 8:45pm, but there will be a special sneak peak of clips from the film starting at the Gala catered reception at 7:30 which has a separate fundraising admission of $50. This is a great opportunity to hear wonderful music, and help to support local filmmakers, as well as celebrate Vermont’s rich history. More information on the film can be found at thevermontmovie.com.
