Carseat is the alt-genre solo project of Darcy Milligan, a multi-instrumentalist from Hartford, Vermont. Founded from writings of consistent discordance of thoughts and emotions, his music has been renowned as 'visual' audio representations of his experiences. His latest full-length, Tar Queen, goes into the depths of processing the naive, unhealthy relationship with his first love and has been received with stank face, nodding heads, soft eyes, and dropped jaws. His newer music scrutinizes his tendency to observe uncomfortable moments but hesitate to act upon them. He can be found in the wild as a noise control engineer and within rhythm sections across the state, most profoundly, as the drummer for the current Luminous Crush lineup.
