Moth Mouth is a four-piece band from Burlington, VT. Peter (guitar) and Jack (bass) began writing music together in college, and in 2024, they met Jeff (drums) and Emilyn (vocals). Though still figuring out their style, the band draws influence from metal, grunge, and post-punk.

The name "Moth Mouth" was inspired by a haunting vision a week before their first show. In the dead of night, Peter was awakened by a moth flying around his home. Suddenly, the moth opened its mouth and unleashed a deathly metal scream into the darkness. The band took it as an omen, and Moth Mouth was born.
