Sputoola is the chance encounter with a slow motion dance party flash mob when you take the wrong way home. Sails filled with warm breeze on a bluebird day out on the lake. Cold beer trail magic served fireside, darkness all around the stars.
Formed in 2016 to as a vehicle to explore progressive funk rock and thoughtful songwriting. After over a year of collaborative writing and rehearsal, Seth Cronin (guitar, vocals), Ian Hunt (Bass, vocals), and Matt Barry (drums) took to the stage for the first time at Nectar's September 2017. Joined by JJ Vanacore (keys) in the spring of 2018, Sputoola released their debut single "Pale Blue Dot" recorded at Future Fields in Burlington. Their forthcoming, self-titled full length album is slated for release in summer of 2020.
