The Radiator Wins Production Award for #HEARVT Campaign!

Big Heavy World and WOMM-LP 105.9FM ‘The Radiator' send happy “Thanks!” to the Vermont Association of Broadcasters for our new ‘Outstanding Radio Station Digital Commercial, Promo or PSA’ Production of the Year award! The recognition came at the annual VAB convention, held this year at the beautiful (in-bloom!) Lareau Farm Inn, Events & Home of American Flatbread in Waitsfield. The award was juried by broadcast associations from other states and recognized one of the five #HEARVT public service announcements created to promote local music throughout Vermont during the COVID-19 pandemic. The campaign aimed to inspire Vermonters to buy local music and merchandise at their community record shops or online; it was heard and seen on radio and television stations from across the state. The award-winning segment, below, featured Kat Wright. The series was filmed by Christian James and edited by Ryan Cohen of Robot Dog Studio for Big Heavy World.
