The Big Heavy World Foundation preserves and promotes music and musicians from Vermont in all stages of their careers. Their work is done by a crew of volunteers who are a mainly high school or college-aged. They learn technical, professional, and social skills while supporting a music scene they love. ArtsBoston provides vital research and audience-building programs that encourage participation in arts and culture, stimulate demand and raise attendance. Newport Restoration Foundation has preserved more than eighty 18th and 19th-century buildings on Aquidneck Island, representing one of the largest portfolios of historic architecture owned by a single organization in the United States.
