'Museum Open House' TV Show Features Tiny Museum of Vermont Music History
The Tiny Museum of Vermont Music History is being featured on the television show, ‘Museum Open House.’ The program is produced at NewTV, a nonprofit broadcast organization based in Newton, Massachusetts. Hosted by retired teacher Jay Sugarman, the half-hour program explores current and upcoming exhibits and various resources at regional museums.
Jay interviewed James Lockridge, Big Heavy World’s Executive Director, about the museum’s opening event in September and many of its exhibits, sharing photos and talking about themes like promoting the state’s identity by reflecting its creative diversity.
Other museums featured on previous episodes include Lynn Museum/Lynn Arts, the Rose Art Museum at Brandeis University, Museum of Science, Boston Tea Party Ships, DeCordova Museum, Institute of Contemporary Art, and many others.
