Highlight is Burlington’s new virtual New Year’s Eve celebration, produced by Signal Kitchen & Burlington City Arts. The festival brings Vermont’s leading artists, doers, and thinkers together to showcase our community’s creativity through lively festivities for all to enjoy!

For this year's HIGHLIGHT House Party, Big Heavy World's contribution was ‘A Colorful Talk Show’ with host dj cRAIG mITCHELL speaking with local performers and community leaders on the subject of 2020 and beyond, with performances and poetry readings.

With guests that came from a wide spectrum of Vermont's human landscape, A Colorful Talk Show was a lot of fun, along with being a presentation focused on representation of all of the beautiful and shining colors and shades that make us human.

Craig’s guests were Taylor Small (Vermont’s first trans state representative, from the Pride Center of Vermont); singer-songwriter Antara; Natania Carter, Executive Director of HOPE Works; and Matt Hagen of the High Breaks, Purple and San Mateo.
