The Vermont Music Far & Wide exhibit, curated by Big Heavy World, will be the festive setting for a public reception on Thursday, June 6, 4-6pm. Vermont Music Far & Wide features artifacts, photography, and interactive exhibits that cross over decades of original music made in Vermont; for details, visit this blog post. The reception takes place during Montpelier Alive’s ArtsFest, with free art events all over town, and also during the New England Foundation for the Arts Creative Communities Exchange conference — jump into some arts-loving company! James Lockridge, Executive Director of Big Heavy World, will speak briefly about the exhibit at 5pm. The Vermont History Museum is operated by the Vermont Historical Society and is located at 109 State Street in Montpelier. For more information, contact James Lockridge, info@bigheavyworld.com.
