Mikahely at Huntington Inn for Make Music Day
Fresh off from a performance at Montpelier’s City Hall Plaza, Mikahely is performing again for Make Music Day! Mikahely is bringing his bassesa sound to the Huntington House Inn Restaurant and Docs Tavern, located at 19 Huntington Place in Rochester. Mikahely is a self taught artist, and specializes on the guitar and valiha. The valiha is a traditional bamboo zither from Madagascar. Mikahley talks about Madagascan life in his music, its daily life and hardships, and major issues like climate change, the environment, and children’s rights.
With Mikahely’s music comes stories not often heard in Vermont. Don’t miss him this Make Music Day! Find him at either Montpelier’s City Hall Plaza, from 4 PM to 5 PM, or at the Huntington House Inn from 6:30 PM to 9 PM.
