Call for Vermont Artists for the Spruce Peak Folk Festival Extended!

Calling all Vermont Musicians! 

We are seeking two to five emerging Vermont acts to join the line-up for the first ever Spruce Peak Folk Festival to take place on Saturday, August 11 outdoors on the Green in the Spruce Peak Village in Stowe. These Vermont acts will be featured as pre-show buskers on busker ‘stages’ from 1pm – 3pm, at the entries to the event for maximum exposure.  All artists also receive a stipend in thanks for their performance.

To be considered please email detail on your performance history and/or a press kit.  All acts required to submit a recent video of one to three songs with their application. Film production value is not part of the criteria for selection, we just want to hear and see you! 

Applications should be emailed to SPFFCall@sprucepeakarts.org with Subject Line: SPFF busker application.  Your application will be reviewed by our expert panel and selected musicians will be announced in July! The application deadline is Friday, June 22, 2018, so send your entries in!

About the Spruce Peak Folk Festival

The first annual Spruce Peak Folk Festival will take place on Saturday, August 11 from 1pm – 8pm on the Green in the Spruce Peak Village. Join us for this all day, family-friendly affair!  Bring your picnic blanket and low rise beach chair and settle in to hear Josh Ritter & The Royal City Band, Anaïs Mitchell, Daniel Rodriguez of Elephant Revival, and Vermont busker acts (TBA)! 

Festival tickets are $35 for adults, $15 for ages twelve and under.  A limited number of VIP passes are available for $75 per person and include VIP parking, VIP seating, and exclusive access to the VIP concession tent (Hurry, only 125 VIP tickets will be sold!).
