Rocket Shop Live at Arts Riot is made possible by our partners Arts Riot and RETN, with support from the BCA Community Fund.

Rocket Shop Live at ArtsRiot is a monthly concert series made possible with support from ArtsRiot, Big Heavy World, and RETN. The concerts are presented live on one Wednesday each month at ArtsRiot and broadcast live through Big Heavy World's website. This month features the Burlington-based Blowtorch and the experimental sounds of Full Walrus and hosted by Tom Proctor. 'Rocket Shop' is Big Heavy World's local music radio hour, every Wednesday night at 8 pm on 105.9FM The Radiator. Rocket Shop has hosted hundreds of Vermont musician guests in its many years on-air. This event is made possible with support from the BCA Community Fund and is a Vermont Arts 2017 performance. Catch up with podcasts of prior episodes in iTunes or at bigheavyworld.com/rocketshop!

About the Bands:

Blowtorch is the creation of musician Bill Mullins (guitar, vocal harmonies) and artist Clark Russell (lead vocals). Justice Or Else features Mullins (from Pittsburgh and D.C.) playing all instruments, includes recorded samples by Russell (St. Louis). Burlington-based Blowtorch, a four-piece set, is fortified by (Philadelphia-area) brothers Justin Crowther (drums) and Noah Crowther (bass).

Full Walrus' music combines elements from a variety of strong influences such as Radiohead, Pink Floyd, Animal Collective, My Bloody Valentine and a number of other bands that are good!
