Tom Proctor Welcomed As New Rocket Shop Host

After two years, our beloved program host Brent Hallenbeck is surrendering this role with Rocket Shop, Big Heavy World's weekly local music radio hour, to take on growing assignments at the Burlington Free Press where he's an arts and entertainment writer. Stepping into the magma-like flare of the Rocket Shop captain's chair is Tom Proctor, with a distinct accent and pneumatic drill curiosity.

Tom is a raconteur enthusiast, keen to pull on a good yarn and appreciates a tale well spun. With Rocket Shop he hopes to have more opportunities to unearth the juicy details of Vermont's up and coming musical artists and to put the people behind the music in the forefront of the picture.
