Radio Show 108 Thursday April 30, 2015 9-11PM Eastern US Time WBKM.ORG
Words by Tim Lewis.
I just got back from my local music radio show on internet only Wbkm Dot Org. I highlighted a few of the many bands that are playing Waking Windows this weekend. Most of the commentary between songs was when and where the bands are playing, so I will leave the website as a comment and leave the talking spaces blank.
Song before: Windows Down – Lendway

intro
From our small city to the great big world, these are the Sounds of Burlington. On Friday, Saturday and Sunday there will be a staggering amount of music in Winooski. I’m going to highlight a lot of that, but want to start with what happened last weekend. It was great to see Elephants of Scotland play at Brutopia as part of the Marillion weekend in Montreal. Elephants played Nectar’s a couple of weeks ago, and it was cool to see them in Canada. There were lots of people who wanted to be there and knew their music and were so excited to see them. It was pretty great. They played a nice version of this one. This is TFAY by Elephants of Scotland on WBKM, and this is Burlington’s Kind Of Music.
1.) TFAY – Elephants of Scotland 2.) Slash & Burn – Zero Circle 3.) Broken Paths, Dead Ends – Better Things
BT and ZC are over at Club Metronome tonight opening for Hawthorne Heights. OK, it’s Waking Windows time. I’m going to run through the schedule in order and play bands that I have music for. This is a tiny sampling of the massive amount of music that will happen this weekend. It starts at 5pm and this artist is one of the ones that will kick it off.
4.) Headlights and Liquer – Kelly Ravin 5.) Grass Is Always Greener – Phil Yates & The Affiliates 6.) Little Song – Invisible Homes 7.) Obligatory Sad Love Song – The Smittens

Time for the next song on Swale’s album The Next Instead. Of course they are a part of this great event. They play Saturday at 3:15 on the outdoor stage.
