Eric Maier, Mark Daley, Willobough Morse, Jer Coons, and Dan Ryan have played together for a long time. All five Madaila band members have been pursuing the art of music-making from as young as 5-10 years old, with musical parents supporting their love for creating musical art. Born Vermonters, the band started out in Middlebury, VT with their first gig last August, right in their hometown. They speak with smiles and inside humor about their music style of retro future pop/country disco and touching base with a lot of different genres that continue to influence their creative process. With regard to their philosophy as a group, Eric stated, "It's really important for us to be true to who we are and the music we want to create, especially when there's a lot of pressures happening, maintaining the reality of paying bills and living a life.
