Free Panel: Grant Funding for Musicians TONIGHT

Tonight at 7pm, just before our free Rocket Shop Live at Main Street Landing performances by Mark Lavoie and Waylon Speed, join representatives from the Vermont Arts Council and the Vermont Community Foundation for a conversation about grant funding for musicians. It's a panel introducing Vermont-based musical artists to opportunities for grant support of your individual or community arts projects. Providing an overview of opportunities, the path to applying for support (and how challenging or frictionless it might be), how you might prepare yourself to seek grants, and how you might combine your energies or objectives with others to achieve both support and extra community benefits. Where does Vermont’s arts funding come from, and how do the grants from the VCF and VAC fit in? Come away with knowledge to help yourself, and with a better understanding of how Vermont’s arts community is helping itself!
