Constructs Returns: BHW Van Rides On!
Words and photos by Constructs.
"Our 3 day weekend tour started July 17th with a show at a small house party in Northern Vermont. After driving through a winding dirt road, we found ourselves at a small camp tucked away in the woods. The show was really intimate. We met lots of cool friends. Thanks Dylan and Rory for asking us to play!
The next day we woke up early and drove to Rutland for Merchants Festival. We played the second day of the Festival. Lots of kids came out and tons of sweet bands played. In particular The Nightlife, Sirens and Sailors, Longshot, and Decades destroyed the venue. Thanks to all the bands for playing and Anthony for booking us. If they do it again next year, make sure you make it down to Rutland for Merchants Festival 2, you won’t regret it. Merchants Hall knows how to put on a show.
Our last show was the next just down the road from our practice space at Higher Ground. We opened for Letlive, Stray From The Path, and Underoath. It was amazing. Probably, one of the best shows we’ve ever played in our years as a band. Thanks go out to all the kids who came out, the guys in the previously mentioned bands, and especially the Higher Ground staff. Higher Ground has some of the best sound. If you are ever booked to play the Ballroom, consider yourself lucky.
A million thanks to Big Heavy Jim for letting us use the Big Heavy Van. Hit us up at facebook.com/constructs. We’d love to hear from any blog readers. Have a good one!"
