Members of Black Riderz stopped by 'Rocket Shop' last night to check in with The Radiator. From left to right in the photo above, A-O, J Money and Bo$$ Green are a few of several members in this tri-lingual rap crew. In the studio, Black Riderz records openly with whoever is present and ready to step up. This makes for a crew with serious range in style, subject matter and flavor. The Black Riderz use language as a group asset to set them apart from other Vermont rap and hip-hop artists. Some of their slower, sweeter verses are sung in Swahili. Other sections with different vibes are done in English and French.

While in the studio, we sampled some Black Riderz tracks including "Show Love" and "Shut the City Down." The group hopes to continue work on their mixtape and book serious gigs around town. For more information and music from the Black Riderz, be sure to check out their facebook and myspace pages. 'Rocket Shop' is Big Heavy World's local music radio hour, every Wednesday 8-9pm on 105.9FM The Radiator and streaming at theradiator.org.
